There are 6 main Corbett Safari Zones that let you experience the complete wilderness. Though Dhikala and Bijrani are the two main safari zones in Corbett, there are other lesser-known zones that you can explore as well.

Jhirna, Dhela, Garjiya and Durgadevi are the three zones that will let you spot rare animals and birds; Apart from these 2 of the zone came in Buffer area of Jim Corbett which are Sitabani & Phato zone.

You need to reach the Corbett safari entry gates to explore the safari zones. Normally, a tourist who visits the zones takes three different safari rides. Jeep safari is ideal for a family tour in Corbett. Canter safari is great if you have a group of friends. Elephant safari is good for people who like an offbeat adventure.

Spotting of royal Bengal Tiger, elephant and deer is common in safari zones of Corbett. You need to carry a camera along with you to take a few stills and clicks.

Garjiya Safari Zone

Garjiya Safari Zone recently opened Entry gate at jim corbett national park having abaundant of wildlife in this zone. Unexplored jungle routes will give new experience to spotting the wildlife in ringora chaurs and garjiya forest zone. Through Garjiya Jungle Safari Gate total 30 jeeps in morning and 30 jeeps in afernoon will go for jungle safari.

Jhirna Safari Zone

Jhirna Safari Zone is open throughout the year, and this zone is one of Jim Corbett's most visited. The tracks in Jhirna Safari Zone are also adventuresome like those in other zones. In Jhirna zone, plenty of wildlife can be spotted in different varieties, and it is also full of dense green forest. The total number of Jeeps that go inside the Jhirna Jeep Safari is 30 in the morning slot and 30 in the evening slot. The Jhirna Zone Safari entry gate is located in the Dhela village, Khara Gate, from where all the Jeeps get entry after registration.

Dhela Safari Zone

Dhela Zone Safari is open all year and provides tourists with jeep safaris for day trips.The maximum number of Jeep safaris permitted in the Dhela Zone is 15 in the morning and 15 in the evening. The distance from Ramnagar to Dhela Zone is 15km. The zone consists of a mix of topography, which includes a dense forest of sal trees, haldu rohini, grasslands, and various water bodies. The Royal Bengal Tiger, Asiatic Elephants, tuskers, bears, various bird species, and many more can be found in the Dhela Zone.Visitors can book a day safari to explore Jim Corbett National Park's Dhela Zone.

Durgadevi Safari Zone

The farthest zone is Durgadevi Zone from Ramnagar, which is located in the hilly area of Corbett National Park. Ramnagar city is 28 kilometres away from Durgadevi Entry Gate. Permissions to explore the Durgadevi zone can be acquired in advance for visitors. During the monsoon, it is open from 15 October to 15 June. The park is closed to all activities. There can be a maximum of 15 jeep safaris each morning and evening. The unusual birds that can be found in this region are what make Durgadevi so well-known. It is a beautiful spot for bird enthusiasts. The stunning scenery and water features in the Durgadevi zone add to the area's peacefulness.
Durgadevi Jeep Safari is the way to explore the durgadevi forest and safari duration is same as others that is 3 to 4 hours.

Phato Zone Safari

The Phato Zone is close to the Maldhan Village, which Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently introduced. The Phato Zone Safari started there last year in 2021. The pickup location in Ramnagar is 26 km away from the Phato zone. 50 vehicles are allowed in the Phato Zone in the morning, and 50 in the evening. The wildlife that may be seen in the Phato Zone Forest is increasing well. Phato zone and Dhela zone are neighbouring and the Phato forest is covered in lush greenery. The duration of a safari is 3 to 4 hours, the same as other safari zones.
